This form of presentation shows a flat section of the leaf tissue with a crossection in the x and y direction showing the relationship of the bacteria (green) within the leaf in relation to the cuticle (shown in yellow). Blue defines the autofluorescing chloroplasts in the palisade mesophyll cells. Work was done by Dr. Jaime Cubero.
