Dr. Campbell is a Research Scientist and Director of Research and Development at Decagon Devices, Inc. Decagon is a company in Pullman, WA that has developed affordable soil, plant, and atmospheric measurement instrumentation for agricultural research and food science. This company developed the ECH2O soil moisture probe and other instruments for soil, canopy, and environmental research. They also make instruments for measuring water activity in foods.
Dr. Campbell is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor for the Dept. of Crop and Soil Science at Washington State University. He teaches a course in Environmental Biophysics there.
