LAKE ALFRED, FL (AUGUST 2006) – The second of four candidates applying for the Assistant Professor Food Microbiologist Faculty Position at the UF/IFAS Citrus Research and Education Center will be presenting his seminar today August 28, 2006. The title of his seminar is “Effect of antimicrobials on control of Clostridium perfringens.”
Dr. Lalit Bohra is currently a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Nebraska. He received his Ph.D. in Food Science from Kansas State University, and has been working in the area of food microbiology since then, holding both academic and industrial microbiology positions. Dr. Bohra will present a seminar covering recent research work, as well as his outline for potential research and extension programs in food microbiology at CREC.
