Library - OnLine Access - Database Searching
Instructions for bibliographic database searching through the University of Florida Libraries.
One way to get to database information is to use the University of Florida On-Line Catalog
- Use the UF Libraries link in the upper right hand corner of the page. That will give a link to the Database locator
- The DATABASE LOCATOR will give several approaches to finding databases and also gives shortcuts to a cheatsheet to optimize your search results.
Another approach is from this page "Finding Databases and Electronic Resources" This connection may be found on the UF Libraries home page or on the Database Locator page.
- For basic help on search techniques and shortcuts Database Commands
- For a simple explanation of Boolean search strings from the User Aids Page
